Yoga for Kids Who Need More Than a Classroom Can Give
Some children don't need another program. They need a place to set down what they're carrying and learn how to come back to themselves.

More than poses
Traditional physical education works for many children, but for those who struggle with sensory processing, focus, or emotional regulation, a competitive gym floor can be a place of stress rather than success. We offer an alternative that meets the child exactly where they are. By integrating movement with breathwork and mindfulness, we help students develop the awareness required to navigate their inner and outer worlds with greater ease.

Social and emotional learning, taught through the body
Our sessions focus on the core competencies of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Unlike traditional classroom learning, which is primarily cognitive, yoga allows students to experience these concepts physically. They learn how it feels in their bodies when they are anxious and, more importantly, how to use their own breath to return to a state of calm.
Who this is for
We work with children and teens who are bright but easily overwhelmed, who struggle to focus, settle, or connect, and who do better when they are met as capable rather than treated as a problem.
What a session looks like
Every session is structured to provide a predictable, safe environment while allowing for flow and individual needs. We begin with a grounding check-in, move through a series of mindful yoga shapes designed for the child's specific energy levels, and practice targeted breathwork. Throughout, we use the Grounded Mastery Method, drawing on yoga, breath, and movement to help students find their balance and integrate the work, so they leave feeling centered and capable.
Options and rates
Initial session — $150
We meet, I get to know your child, and we set the direction together.
Individual session — $75
45 minutes, one on one.
Small group — $50 per child
One full hour, four to five children.
Hosting family and siblings — $45 per child
The family providing the space receives the reduced rate, and it applies to each of their children.
About small groups
Small group sessions are curated carefully to match age, ability, and temperament. Groups provide a low-pressure social environment where students can practice self-regulation skills in the presence of peers, building their confidence in shared spaces.
How ESA billing works
Find the Center is a registered ClassWallet direct pay vendor, which means there is no out-of-pocket cost to you. Your ESA funds pay for instruction directly.
To begin, you'll receive an itemized invoice from me. You submit that invoice through your ClassWallet account for approval. Once the charge is approved and the invoice is submitted, you get access to my scheduling calendar to book your sessions. Approval is what opens scheduling, so it needs to be in place first.
Each invoice shows the student's name, the date of each session, session length, subject, and rate. A session log is kept and shared with you, so your records always match what was delivered.
Scheduling and booking window
Sessions are booked five to seven business days in advance. This gives me time to prepare and to hold space for your child on my calendar. Same-week or last-minute sessions can't always be accommodated, so earlier is always better.
Twenty four hours notice to reschedule at no charge. Every family gets one courtesy reschedule. After that, a session cancelled with less than twenty four hours notice, or missed without notice, is billed directly to the family out of pocket rather than to the ESA account, because ESA funds cannot be used for missed sessions.
When a family is travelling or relocates outside the service area, sessions continue live by video at the same rates. Instruction follows the child.
