social emotional learning balance breath yoga
Some children don't need another program. They need a place to set down what they're carrying and learn how to come back to themselves.
Yoga and breath instruction for kindergarten through twelfth grade, available through your Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account.

Does this sound familiar?
Your child cannot sit still for twenty minutes and will build something for three hours.
Your child is a deep thinker who loses the thread by step three.
Your child forgets the assignment and remembers everything that matters to them.
Your child notices everything and turns in none of it.
Your child has been called lazy and is working harder than anyone can see.
Your child failed the timed test and understood it first.
Your child will not start the worksheet and asks the question the lesson was building toward.
Your child needs longer to write, and writes the best story in the room.
I know these sentences because they were said about me. Every one of them, in some version, in a conference room with my parents on the other side of the table. I was the bright one who could not focus, the deep thinker who lost the directions, the kid working harder than anyone could see. Nobody had the second half of the sentence back then.

What I carried out of those rooms was not the label. It was the belief that I was the problem, and that took years longer to put down than any of it needed to. That is what goes unsupported when only the first half of the sentence gets said out loud.

And parents leave those rooms carrying something too. You have heard the first half of the sentence about your child more times than you can count, and you have gone home and sat with it alone. Some of you were once that child. You are hearing your own school years read back to you across the table, and you are trying to do better for your child than anyone knew how to do for you. Some of you stopped waiting for the room to change and took your child's education into your own hands, so they would not have to live what you lived. You are not imagining the gap between who they told you your child is and who you know your child to be.

And this is not only for the children who are struggling. A space where a child is seen, where it is safe to be exactly where they are and still grow, does something for every child in the room. That is what I build. I built it so your child does not have to wait as long as I did to hear the second half of their own sentence.
HOW ABOUT: Your child is full of energy and should be allowed to be full of JOY!
Screens have become the default.
Big feelings arrive faster than the words to handle them.
We work with all children. But especially children who are bright and easily overwhelmed, who struggle to focus, settle, or connect, and who do better when they are met as capable rather than treated as a problem. Bringing social emotional learning and balance for children and parents through yoga and breath support.
What Your Child Learns
Instruction, not therapy
We focus on repeatable skills and practical tools that children can use in their daily lives to find their balance while strengthening their center.
Grounded Mastery Method
Yoga is the vehicle. The Grounded Mastery Method is the work — teaching children to steady the body so the mind can follow, and to come back to center on their own.
Practical Life Skills
Students learn to reconnect with themselves and the world through movement and mindful awareness practices.
